Ryoko Tani, a 37-year-old woman and two-time Olympic judo gold medalist, became the first female board member in the Federation's history.Tani's achievement marks another monumental first for women's judo. It also reminds us of Fukuda Sensei's lifelong efforts to pave the way for future generations of women and girls in judo. Please join us in offering our congratulations to Ms. Tani!
